Every year, The Hispanic Society of America selects an object in its permanent collection as a source of inspiration for the annual gala. In 2011, an Art Nouveau-era lithographic poster advertising a print shop was chosen. I created a set of custom illustrative elements based on the print, to complement and enrich the visual impact of the original art in the design.
